Rev. Judith Malear, an Ordained Interfaith Minister and notary public with San Mateo County, is a warm, creative, and inspirational wedding officiant. She uses her knowledge of many faiths and spiritual beliefs to assist you in creating a meaningful ceremony that fits your religious and spiritual beliefs and cultural heritage.
Rev. Judith has been performing customized ceremonies at oceanfront locales and other San Mateo Coastside and Bay Area locations for the past nine years. She studies world religions and philosophies, and practices yoga and meditation. She has enjoyed two long-term happy marriages and has three children and six grandchildren.
Creating your wedding ceremony, vow renewal or baby blessing
Rev. Judith will provide you with a selection of ceremonies. If you wish, she can incorporate your beliefs, family traditions and cultural heritage into one of these ceremonies. She is also adept at creating memorable ceremonies that include each couple’s favorite passages, poetry, songs or rituals and can offer ideas for including children in the ceremony.
Long-distance planning
Rev. Judith has experience assisting couples in planning their event from a long distance. She has married many couples from Europe, Asia, Australia and Canada as well as couples from throughout the United States.
Choosing your oceanside wedding location, San Francisco wedding location, or Bay Area wedding location
Since Pacific Coast Weddings is located a stone’s throw from the Pacific Ocean (30 minutes from San Francisco International Airport or Palo Alto on the Peninsula, and just 30 minutes south of San Francisco), you can choose a relaxing, intimate ceremony on the beach, in an elegant country garden or in the spectacular California redwoods. You can also choose to have your ceremony (large or small) at other locales in the Bay Area. Some of the venues where Rev. Judith has officiated include the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, the Weston St. Francis Hotel, Fairmont Hotel, the Cliff House and the Presidio Chapel in San Francisco, various Peninsula hotels, and numerous wineries.
Pacific Coast Weddings services
Services include a lovely legal ceremony, handling of all paperwork, a keepsake copy of your ceremony, an AV sound system for the minister, and a confidential marriage license (available upon request).
You don’t have to go all the way to Tahoe or Vegas for an “intimate getaway wedding.” If you are eloping or wish to have a more spontaneous event, Rev. Judith can issue a confidential marriage license and perform your ceremony on short notice.
