These are some of the many requests I get for elopements or small intimate weddings. Couples sometimes want an elopement ceremony even though they are planning a larger wedding in the future. One couple asked me to marry them alone on the beach the same day as their larger wedding in San Francisco.
Elopements are stress free, very romantic and the couples are comfortable in expressing their most intimate feelings with each other. Couple often have a reception when they return home and show photos or a video of their beautiful coastside wedding.
There is no waiting or blood test required in California. I can provide a confidential marriage license (upon request) and since I am a notary public with the County of San Mateo, your ceremony is a legal one.
